The “AKF La Perle” Karate Club is a member of the Ohtsuka Amateur Karate Foundation.  This club was first located at the Jewish Community Center (since January 23, 1984), and then at the Crestwood Community League before relocating to the La Perle Community League, which makes it the longest continuously running AKF club.  Our karate program offers both classic and innovative martial arts instruction that provides physical, mental, and spiritual development in an exciting recreational environment.  Our classes provide outstanding workouts and training that does not require any prior martial arts knowledge.  Karate at La Perle is also unique in that individuals and families can participate and train together.  Our Black Belt instructors are all very dedicated volunteers, and represent a wealth of experience in the martial arts.
All Senseis at Karate at LaPerle have completed a Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check (Edmonton Police) with No Information to Disclose.
